Our objective is to establish a self-sustaining running organizations in marginalized communities and developing nations that is fully managed and operated through the collaborative efforts of Athletes, Coaches and Athlete Representatives.
The main goals of the organization is to implement a model that allows:
• Athletes to be supported in ways that helps to advance their athletic and professional development.
• Coaches to be supported in ways that helps them better serve the Athletes as well as advance their own knowledge base and professional growth.
• The running communities and Athletics organizations to adopts our model and work towards becoming self-sustaining organizations so as to help grow the sport domestically, become ambassadors for an active and healthy lifestyles, and build an working relationships with the global running community and other health and wellness organizations.
Project Renegade Eritrea will run two non - revenue generating projects and two revenue generating projects to fund and support the project’s mission and organization as a whole.
1. Local Race Promotions:
Local races of various distances will be organized to help asses Athlete performances as well as provide earning opportunities for non traveling athletes.
2. Professional development courses for Athletes, Coaches and Management:
As athletes, coaches and managers reach international level exposure, their ability to communicate and navigate various foreign environment will become just as important as their athletic performances. They will need to be prepared to take full advantage of media and marketing opportunities in order to sustain a following and create a working relationships with various foreign organizations and companies.
1. High Altitude Training Camps:
High Altitude training camps will be organized abroad through our foundation and participations will range from seasoned recreational runners to elite level athletes. Eritrean Athletes, Coaches and Managers will be required to help host the guests and facilitate various daily activities for which they will be financially compensated. Each training camp will be 21 days.
2. Athlete Management:
Athlete management fee of 15% will be taken out of any athlete’s earnings from competitions abroad including world championship and Olympic Games as well as any contracts negotiated by our organization on behalf of the Athlete. No fees will be taken from local races.
